Wearing All-White in Fall
11/20/19
I recently was asked how to wear all white in the Fall. It seems easy, especially if it’s still warm out, but it can be a little intimidating once it starts to get colder outside. My original plan was to write a post about a menswear plaid blazer, styled simply with jeans and a t-shirt. But as I thought more about it, I felt that the autumn colors in this blazer would be the perfect way to carry an all-white outfit into the cooler Fall season. So I decided to transform a summer staple outfit of white t-shirt and jeans into a cool Fall look. Read on to find out how I did it….

This menswear blazer is a fairly recent purchase. I didn’t want to spend alot to get the look, so I decided to research some less expensive options. Frankly, I was surprised at how many great ones were out in the market. I really wanted something very neutral in color that I could dress up or down. I love the relaxed fit and oversize lapel on this particular one. The pattern is a small check which feels very refined. I think it’s the perfect compliment to edgier pieces to get a cool street-style aesthetic.

As I mentioned above, I paired the blazer with a simple white t-shirt and cropped white jeans. I adore the way neutral colors look with a bright pop of white – it always feels so fresh and modern. I used a leopard print belt from last fall’s Zara collection to help anchor the all-white and I think it does a perfect job to give the look a Fall feel.

If you’ve ready any of my other posts, you’ll know that I’m obsessed with gold jewelry these days. I love the way these layered coin necklaces made this outfit feel a little more special and dressed up. For the accessories I stayed with neutral colors and gold. This suede crossbody bag is the perfect light khaki shade that goes with everything in my closet, And I love the gold metal hardware detail. The black ankle boots are so old but so good. They’re from Marni and are some of my favoritesI They have the coolest shape with a wide shaft and wooden heel. The best part about them (besides being comfortable) is the grey tweed platform – so cool!
